Plan your holiday outfits against the actual plans

Outfit planning normally happens in a completely different place from trip planning: a notes app, a camera roll, a folder of screenshots. Then you pack for a holiday whose actual schedule you are guessing at from memory.

Holiday Board attaches outfits to the plans they are for, so you are deciding what to wear to a specific dinner on a specific evening with a specific forecast, not to a vague idea of a holiday.

One outfit per person per plan

The plan is shared. The outfit is yours. On the Monday dinner, Sarah has a black dress and gold sandals, Amy has a green jumpsuit and Katie has a white dress, and all three of them can see that before anyone packs.

Only you can change yours. Nobody can quietly reassign your outfit.

Text, photo, or both

Text outfits are part of the free version. Photos come with the Holiday Pass.

  • Text alone: "black dress + gold sandals" is often all you need
  • A photo: a camera shot, something from your library, or a screenshot of the thing you bought
  • Both, with optional notes

The weather is right there

Each day shows its forecast where a reliable one exists. Deciding on linen for a 30 degree Thursday and something warmer for a 19 degree evening is a lot easier when the number is on the same screen.

Dates too far out for a forecast are marked "soon" rather than a guess, and days already gone show the weather that was recorded.

It feeds your packing list

"Black dress + gold sandals" is understood as two items and both turn up under Clothing on your packing list. Say the same shoes twice and they appear once.

Nobody outside the trip sees any of it

Outfits and outfit photos are private to the people on the holiday. They are never public and never indexed by search engines.

Questions

Can I plan outfits before the plans exist?
Outfits attach to a plan, so add the dinner first even if it is only called "Dinner" with no time yet.
Can other people see what I am wearing?
Yes, the rest of the group sees it, which is generally the point. Nobody outside the trip can.
Are outfit photos free?
Text outfits are free. Photos are part of the £6.99 Holiday Pass.
